LI: To create a persuasive speech

Today, the speech/poem winners presented their pieces to the whole school of PBS and a guest judge, Mr Stevenson. The junior school presented a poem to the school and the seniors developed and wrote a persuasive speech stating their opinion and belief and try to persuade the school. There were 12 students presenting their poem/speech.

My favourite speech was by Fau. Her speech was about others mental health and how we should take notice of how others feel, not only the people we know but strangers too. She spoke about how we should care for others feelings and greet them with a welcoming smile or a compliment to brighten their day. 

My favourite poem was spoken by Micela. Micela is a new entry student from room 6. Her poem that she presented was the Humpty Dumpty poem. The reason why she presented my favourite poem of the junior winners was because she spoke with the voice of confidence and we could hear her voice clearly. As a new entry student, she presented with confidence.
