LI: to better understand how to write an end result with the new knowledge of how to add adjectives.

we looked at more recipes in a online format and identified the end results for each. we then highlighted the adjectives with in the end result and why they were used. we then wrote them as a end result with out the adjectives to simplify it.

Maths W5

LI: to solve addition problems on a number line using or knowledge of place value and number bonds.

For maths this week we continued our learning of using a number line. we used place value and number bonds to help us solve the problems.

Reading W5

we are learning to better undersatnd Inferring this week. we did this by figuring out what the pictures and texts were telling us, using the knowledge that we learnt last week and this week about inferring.

LI: We are leaning  about patupaiarehe.I know that patupaiarehe is a fairies that live in the forest.

We went to stardome to learn about solar system.
First we learned about two planets.
John told us all about the planets.
Next we did a quiz. We had to have the good andcar.
Last we learned about the weather on different planets by looking up.

Maori/patupaiarehe

LI: to learn about patupaiarehe fairies and the geography of Aoteroa.

Patupaiarehe are fairies that live in forest.They have magic powers like strength and they can cast a spell on you just by touching you.The Patupaiarehe we learnt about today live on mountains.


We learnt about the Patupaiarehe and the places by listening to the story of IHENGA and searching for information,and using google maps.

The Big Bed

I read a story.The story is called the big bed.I love this story. A new word that I learnt is asleep.The children want to sleep in the big bed with Mum and Dad but Dad said no.

Mt Maunganui

 The legend of  Mt Maunganui  tells us how Mt Maunganui got dragged to its current place.

Whaea Odie read us the story of Mt Maunganui. We used Google maps to find the places in the legend.
